Description
Rodolfo Lacquaniti, organic architectand artist, presents himself to the public through the language of contemporary art: sculpture, installations, video-art, painting, performance, music, photography, literature, gesture, poetry and offers a reflection on consumer society.
The moment of reflection starts with the energy impoverishment that afflicts contemporary man. The creative vision of Lacquaniti utilizes repurposed objects, scraps, and waste, and assembles them to become universal art. The artist then presents one of his installations titled The Garbage Revolution: "Latest generation H2O2 mutants have assembled among the mountain of waste. They are the metropolitan scar, the urban wrinkle of the rebel landfill."
Rodolfo Lacquaniti has created a artist's garden known as the "Giardino Viaggio di Ritorno", the Return Journey, immersed in the greenery of the Maremma in Castiglione della Pescaia. This area served as the setting for the film, "La Storia di Sonia" by Lorenzo Guarnieri, for which he was awarded at the Los Angeles Movie Awards in the Best Production Design category.
