Private and exclusive guided visit of Roselle, defined by some scholars as the "Etruscan Pompeii". Roselle was one of the twelve Etruscan city states and today is an interesting archaeological site where it is possible to witness the overlap of Roman civilization over the Etruscan one, with more recent evidence from the Middle Ages.
We will begin the visit by admiring the imposing city wall built by the Etruscans that surrounded the city from the 4th century B.C. The wall stands 3,270 meters high and more than 3 kilometers long built from irregularly shaped stone blocks.
We will then reach the famous house of the impluvium, characterized by the presence of a courtyard with a collection basin for rainwater where wee will stop to gain a deeper understanding of the daily life of an Etruscan family. We will continue to the Roman amphitheater built during the 1st century A.D. still equipped with incredible acoustics. Then we will visit the Adrianee Spa consisting of a gym, a swimming pool, and various thermal pools (frigidarium, tepidarium, calidarium) and finally the forum of the Augustan age which was the center of public and civil life.
The purchase entitles you to an exclusive tour for a private group of up to 10 people.
