Description

Rocca di Montemassi is an agricultural Maremman reality that extends towards the metalliferous hills on one side towards the sea on the other, enclosing the many souls of this corner of the Tuscan Maremma.

The vineyards lying on hills and gentle slopes host local and international varieties from which important wines are born, full of strength and character.

Alongside the cultivation of ancient varieties of grains, the breeding of the precious Maremmana cow and the experimental vegetable garden complete a varied mosaic, which materializes as an ideal example of a Tuscan farm, an authentic proponent and testimony to contemporary rural life.

Within this splendid setting, our guests can live the unique experience of a tour of the farm, its vineyards and crops, a visit to the Cantina and the Museum of Rural Civilization and a tasting of the wines of the estate.

How to get there

For those coming from Livorno or Rome / Grosseto- The estate is located not far from the Giuncarico exit, SS1 Aurelia (20 km from Grosseto and 25 km from Follonica). Once off of the SS1, continue towards Ribolla (SP20). After 7 km, at the crossroads for Sticciano, turn right (Via Pian dei Bichi / SP91). The estate is on the right after 1.5 km.

For those coming from inland and Siena – Take the Siena-Grosseto (SS223 / E78) exit at Civitella Marittima (45 km from Siena and 30 km from Grosseto) and continue towards Follonica. At the crossroads for the town of Roccastrada, continue towards Follonica / Ribolla and after 9 km, when you reach a roundabout, turn left.
