Trekking in the name of geothermal energy within the nature park of Biancane.

Biancane is a place characterized by type 2 volcanic activity. Along our trekking, we will find different types of geothermal events such as shower heads, ground steam leaks, steam and smoke.

The name Biancane derives from the white color of the rocks that dominate the entire landscape. In fact, the emissions of hydrogen sulphide cause a chemical reaction with the limestone transforming it into plaster.

A walk through this park recalls the first song of Dante's Inferno! We will arrive in the small town of Sasso Pisano where we will be able to refresh ourselves by tasting an excellent beer made using the heat of the vapors.
