Trekking in the footsteps of Davide Lazzaretti, the holy man of Amiata. Monte Labbro is comprised of a limestone core, isolated and emerging from the surrounding area, and characterized by the presence of numerous karst formations such as caves and sinkholes. On the top of this mountain, you can visit the hermitage of Davide Lazzaretti, the founder of the Jurisdavid Church.

Trekking in the footsteps of Davide Lazzaretti, the prophet of Amiata.

In 1800, Davide Lazzaretti founded a utopian community on a secondary peak of Monte Amiata without private funds or property. Many families followed him and started a new life on Monte Labbro.

Our trek through the Monte Labbro Wildlife Park will take us right to the top of the mountain to see where the prophet lived with his community.

Once at the top, we will climb the"Jurisdavidica" tower from where we will admire a splendid panorama over the entire Maremma.
