The beach can be reached on foot (5 minutes, less than 500 meters) through a pleasant path under the shade of pine trees, immersed in the scents of the Mediterranean scrub.
Punta Ala beach is famous for allowing peaceful bathing, immersed in an environment of great natural beauty that offers suggestive and poetic views. The beach’s sand is fine and golden, and gently slopes towards the sea. Behind the shade pines, there are oak and cork forests and other Mediterranean scrub, vegetation typical of the Maremma. Also famous for being the beach of an exclusive and famous port which served as the base of Luna Rossa, the Punta Ala beach will captivate for its breadth and bright colors, and for its welcoming, well-kept and refined spaces.
The seaside town of Castiglione della Pescaia is about 20 km away. In the village of Massa Marittima, about 40km away, you can attend the opera music festival. In Gavorrano, about 28km away, the outdoor theater season takes place in the suggestive Teatro delle Rocce.
